A path to personal freedom….

    The Path

"Let the waves of the universe rise and fall as they will. You have nothing to gain or lose. You are the ocean." Ashtavakra Gita

Jane’s House offers the teachings of Yoga that are based in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. At its core, the Eight Limb Path of Yoga is both an abstract philosophy and a practical method to assist those who practice with realizing their true nature and their oneness with reality. The practice addresses the inherent intelligence of being human by integrating the body, heart, and mind through utilizing all eight limbs. Ultimately, the body is the entry point into an inward journey whose aim is to shorten the distance between the head and the heart, so that all outward actions and participation with outer life take their cue from an active, awake, and attuned inner life. This is also known as Kriya Yoga: a form of self-inquiry, action, and surrender to a higher power.

The teachers at our studio have been trained in Yoga of “Action & Inquiry.” We build practices that are both safe and sustainable for all students.
