Private Yoga

Healing with Yoga & Ayurveda

“It’s when we start working together that the real healing takes place.”

— David Hume

How we begin…

There are many reasons to consider private yoga.

Establish Your Practice

If you are brand new to yoga, working privately with an experienced teacher can offer a safe and supportive entry point to learning about the ancient teachings and establishing your personal practice. Enjoy the benefits of having a private class tailored to your unique needs and goals, and to prepare you to confidently join group classes.

Adapt Your Practice

If you are suffering from a recent injury, or recovering from an acute or chronic illness, private yoga with an application of Ayurvedic wisdom can support a more therapeutic, adaptive practice. Classes are designed with awareness of current limitations in the body to reduce further injury, correct imbalances, and support healing. A wide range of props and therapeutic techniques are available in adaptive private yoga, including yogic breathing techniques, meditation, and lifestyle and dietary counseling.

Deepen Your Practice

If you have an established practice and are interested in achieving a specific posture goal, private yoga can support your individual path with personalized education and hands-on assistance to deepen your practice. Enjoy studying and practicing yogic posture, breathing, and meditation techniques under the direct guidance of a highly skilled teacher.
