Roll, Floss, & Restore with Kenzie
Myofascial Release, Nerve Flossing, & Restorative Yoga
Sunday, June 14, 4-5:30pm
This special class is designed to ground your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Begin with myofascial release using massage balls and foam rollers to soften tight muscles and create space in the body, followed by gentle nerve flossing techniques to stimulate and reset the nervous system. The practice will close with deep, supported restorative yoga, inviting full-body relaxation and nervous system regulation. Perfect for anyone needing a moment to breathe, reset, and return to center. No experience necessary. All bodies welcome. Props provided.

Gentle PiYo with Kenzie
Five-Week Series: Mondays, June 1-29, 9:30-10:30am
PiYo combines the practices of Yoga and Pilates to offer the mindfulness and balance of yoga with the core strengthening and muscle group burn of Pilates. This dynamic fusion class will highlight the similarities and differences between the two practices - and expand your own - by challenging the strength of the whole body and utilizing the breath in new ways. Ideal for all students, this series will help increase core and body strength, improve mobility, flexibility, and enhance posture. Most of this class will be taught on the floor, laying down or seated. This class is designed to be safe for all bodies, including those with spinal issues like osteoporosis and bulged/herniated discs, and prenatal and postpartum women.

Join us for Connect with Compassion, a conscious communication practice based on the principles developed by Marshall Rosenberg. If you are new, come learn and practice skills that will bring your communication to life. If you are experienced, deepen your own practice and share your experience with others.
We will be using Marshall Rosenberg’s book Nonviolent Communication: A Language for Life as our text for study and practice. Our aim is to cover the book together, one chapter at every class. Although it is ideal to study each chapter in sequence, you are free to participate as and when you can.

The Practice Lab uses intentional repetition to help students move beyond exposure into a lived, embodied understanding. By revisiting sequences over several weeks, students build strength, refine alignment, improve balance, and develop deeper body awareness. Join Christy to focus on the foundation of yoga practice including awareness, breath and alignment. The series aims to teach you basic tools for a good foundation that will carry you into the next stage of your yoga practice.
Each class will set aside time for in-depth instruction and questions and answers in addition to practicing yoga postures. We will cover how to access and activate muscles to support you in yoga postures so that they feel stable. We will also cover how to practice postures in a way that will challenge you while allowing for ease.

Thai Massage with Jonathan

Thai Massage is an ancient healing modality with movements that resemble passive yoga. It consists of muscular compressions, stretching and joint mobilization. It is performed on a futon mat while wearing comfortable clothing. It can reduce stress, improve circulation, flexibility, & range of motion, center your mind & body, and release blocked or stagnant energy as well as stiff muscles. It is relaxing and therapeutic.

Thai Herbal Poultice Massage is a one-hour, deep heat medicinal muscle treatment where warm herbal compresses filled with organic herbs are steamed and applied directly to the body with a variety of massage techniques. The body absorbs the heat combined with the organic herbs to help reduce aches and pains, stimulate circulation, increase lymphatic drainage, and detoxify and condition the skin. This treatment can also alleviate sore muscles, back and joint pain, as well as reduce stress and increase energy. After the session, you’ll take your two, larger herbal poultices home with instructions on how to continue to use them at home for several more weeks. Advance your Vinyasa Krama skills and learn to sequence intelligently in real time, tailoring classes to meet students where they are. This hands-on course develops your ability to think on your feet and create responsive, effective sequences for diverse student needs.
Building on the foundational principles learned in Vinyasa Krama 101, this advanced training focuses on practical application and real-time teaching skills. Through guided practice and group exercises, you will develop confidence in creating progressive sequences spontaneously and adapting your teaching to student capacity in the moment. This is an essential course for teachers who want to move beyond pre-planned sequences and develop the flexibility to respond to what is actually happening in the room.

Learn the Japanese Healing Art of REIKI. REI is the Japanese word for Higher Consciousness/God and KI is the Japanese word for life force. The flow of life within our bodies can become distorted, stagnant, or blocked due to lifestyle, destructive beliefs, or unprocessed life experiences. The application of Reiki can release those symptoms by bringing the flow of life force back to harmony through channeling higher consciousness, intelligent energy flow into ourselves or others.
The Reiki training for Usui Holy Fire ® Reiki I {self-healing} and II {expand healing} consists of 13 hours of content, discussion, and practice as well as the Reiki placements/attunements.
Reiki I Curriculum on Saturday, October 10th includes the Reiki Kanji and meaning, Reiki Ideals and Gassho, the nature of science and energy, a brief history of Reiki, the three pillars of Reiki, energy of emotions, Placement which corresponds to attunement and initiation, practices to treat yourself, Byosen scanning and beaming, treating animals, plants, home, and the Earth.
Reiki II Curriculum on Sunday, October 11th includes Holy Fire Experience, understanding the nature of healing, energetic imbalances, symbology and the Reiki symbols, Placement, treating others and distance healing techniques, the business of Reiki, and guidance for further practice and study.
