Jane’s House offers regular workshops that facilitate the learning process for both students and teachers alike. We encourage you to experience the additional support that these teachings have to offer.
Sunday, December 14, 4-6pm
How you breathe is how you live! Join Jackie as she guides you through various breathwork exercises to help open up your breathing capacity, eventually falling into an activated Conscious Connected Breathing pattern. This breathing pattern helps unwind deep tensions, patterns, and habits held in the body for years, allowing you to release what is no longer needed and live a more meaningful, fulfilling life. Students will also learn breathing exercises they can practice daily to achieve better health, produce profound relaxation, and increase mental focus. The session closes with an intentionally guided sound healing practice to better integrate your journey. No prior experience needed to attend; all are welcome.

Join Andrea for a 45-minute beginner yoga class created for children ages 8~13. Our class is focused on yoga and mindfulness to improve both physical and mental health. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and mindfulness.

Sermon on the Mount

Wisdom in Motion is a class that will take you on a transformative inner journey through the ancient teachings of Yoga. In December, practices will shine a light on Jesus’s Teachings, which run parallel to Yogic principles. Take a deep dive into the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’s life as a Yogi, and his devotional path of Bhakti Yoga. Join Joe in December for practices of the Holy Season, and illuminate the path of inner peace and self-discovery.

Gentle PiYo with Kenzie
Three-week Series, Fridays, December 5-19, 8:30-9:30am
PiYo combines the practices of Yoga and Pilates to offer the mindfulness and balance of yoga with the core strengthening and muscle group burn of Pilates. This dynamic fusion class will highlight the similarities and differences between the two practices - and expand your own - by challenging the strength of the whole body and utilizing the breath in new ways. Ideal for all students, this series will help increase core and body strength, improve mobility, flexibility, and enhance posture. Most of this class will be taught on the floor, laying down or seated. This class is designed to be safe for all bodies, including those with spinal issues like osteoporosis and bulged/herniated discs, and prenatal and postpartum women.

Ease into your weekend with slow, mindful movement followed by deeply supportive rest. Join Teresa for Weekend Wind-Down, a calming blend of Gentle and Restorative Yoga. Perfect for anyone looking to relax, reset, and start the weekend with intention - this class offers a peaceful atmosphere, a space to fully unwind, and optional tea and community after class. All are welcome.

Embark on a journey of self-expression, explore your imagination + piece together your intentions by making a collage vision board! Winter Solstice Sound Immersion

Join us for a celebration of the end of darkness and the return of light in a dynamic sound immersion of harmonic resonance. As we reach the Winter Solstice and the darkest time of year, when the veil between worlds is most accessible, we can find the gifts the darkness holds and be transported into clear awareness where our own inner light is revealed.
Featuring the deep pulsating vibrations of aboriginal didgeridoo, expansive frequencies of Chiron, a 32" planetary gong, soulful flute, various chimes and bells, and over 20 Tibetan singing bowls, spiritual sound vessels of the Himalayas known for their capacity to induce profound states of balance and clarity. The voice will also be featured in guided meditation and sacred chant to deepen our connection with spirit and align with universal energy.
This is a wonderful opportunity to harmonize and balance our lives with positive intention, having complete faith in our limitless capacity as beings of light to attain our highest potential.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye covering (optional). Dress comfortably and bring some water to drink. It's preferable not to eat for an hour prior.

Are you new to yoga? Returning to yoga after time away? Ready to revisit or fine-tune the basics in your yoga practice? Then this series is for you!
Join Christy to focus on the foundation of yoga practice including awareness, breath and alignment. The series aims to teach you basic tools for a good foundation that will carry you into the next stage of your yoga practice.
Each class will set aside time for in-depth instruction and questions and answers in addition to practicing yoga postures. We will cover how to access and activate muscles to support you in yoga postures so that they feel stable. We will also cover how to practice postures in a way that will challenge you while allowing for ease.

Myofascial Release, Nerve Flossing, & Restorative Yoga

This special class is designed to ground your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Begin with myofascial release using massage balls and foam rollers to soften tight muscles and create space in the body, followed by gentle nerve flossing techniques to stimulate and reset the nervous system. The practice will close with deep, supported restorative yoga, inviting full-body relaxation and nervous system regulation.
