Thai Massage with Jonathan

Wednesday - Monday, March 18 - March 23

Thai Massage is an ancient healing modality with movements that resemble passive yoga. It consists of muscular compressions, stretching and joint mobilization. It is performed on a futon mat while wearing comfortable clothing. It can reduce stress, improve circulation, flexibility, & range of motion, center your mind & body, and release blocked or stagnant energy as well as stiff muscles. It is relaxing and therapeutic.

Thai Herbal Poultice Massage is a one-hour, deep heat medicinal muscle treatment where warm herbal compresses filled with organic herbs are steamed and applied directly to the body with a variety of massage techniques. The body absorbs the heat combined with the organic herbs to help reduce aches and pains, stimulate circulation, increase lymphatic drainage, and detoxify and condition the skin. This treatment can also alleviate sore muscles, back and joint pain, as well as reduce stress and increase energy. After the session, you’ll take your two, larger herbal poultices home with instructions on how to continue to use them at home for several more weeks.
