Connect with Compassion is a weekly practice of Compassionate Communication, based on principles developed by Marshall Rosenberg. Our practice group is for every Compassionate Communication practitioner, regardless of prior experience. If you are new, come learn and practice skills that will bring your communication to life. If you are experienced, deepen your own practice and share your experience with others.

We continue our weekly practice with the book The Way of Integrity by Martha Beck, as our text for study and practice. We will cover this book together, one chapter each week. Although it is ideal to study each chapter in sequence, you are free to participate as and when you can.

Soft-Tissue-Rolling

Roll, Release & Restore with Tim

Saturdays, February 10, 17, 24, 9:30 - 10:45am

The muscles of the pelvic floor support unique functions of the urinary, reproductive, and gastrointestinal system, while providing stability for the spine, core, trunk, and diaphragm. They work with the surrounding muscles to maintain intra-abdominal pressure - the key to preventing things like back pain, prolapse, leaks, and other issues. Equally important to strengthening these muscles is learning to lengthen and relax them.

In this series, you will learn to use your whole body to bring more awareness to the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles, with an emphasis on using breath and posture practice to engage, relax, and lengthen the muscles to get the pelvic floor working in harmony with the rest of the body. Join Kenzie if you are pregnant, recovering from birth or surgery, or if you want to build awareness around the pelvic floor muscles. This series will also help address pain around the low back, hips, and tailbone.

Cost: $45 or $15 drop-in

Ho’oponopono is the ancient Hawaiian healing practice for forgiveness and reconciliation. More than a prayer, it is the process of bringing balance and harmony into your relationships with others, ancestors, Mother Earth, and most importantly, yourself.

Recitation of the prayer helps release alienating thoughts and experiences, and connects you with the compassion and empathy alive in every being. Join Joe as he prepares the way for sitting with gentle asana, and breathwork to support moving attention from an externalized experience to deep inward silence.

Cost: $15 or Use your Pass.
